BLOG TOUR [Interview + HUGE GIVEAWAY!!!!] Letters To Nowhere by Julie Cross

From the International Bestselling Author of the Tempest Series...

Set in the tough world of Elite Gymnastics...

I've gotten used to the dead parents face. I've gotten used to living with my gymnastics coach. I've even adjusted to sharing a bathroom with his way-too-hot son. Dealing with boys is not something that's made it onto my list of experiences as of yet. But here I am, doing it. And something about Jordan--being around him, talking to him, thinking about him--makes me feel like I can finally breathe again. That's something I haven't been able to do lately. He knows what it feels like to be me right now. He knows what it's like to wonder--what now? I think about it constantly. I need answers. I need to know how to get through this. In the gym, if you're struggling, you train harder, you do drills and conditioning. How do I work hard at moving on? At being on my own? And what happens if I might be...maybe...probably falling for Jordan? I mean we live together now. That can't happen, can it? But kissing him...well, let's just say it's not an easy activity to forget.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Pistachio

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Toast!

Night owl, or early bird?
A lot of times I’m both, but my body is naturally inclined to rise early in the morning even if I’d rather sleep in. I’ve tried to sleep late, but never can. Can’t nap either.

One food you would never eat?
Anything involving animal sex organs.

Skittles or M&Ms?
M&Ms as long as it’s plain. Otherwise Skittles.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
A teacher. Always a teacher.

You have won one million dollars what is the first thing that you would buy?
A housekeeper? Laundry service maybe? Oh… or someone to grocery shop for me. I hate grocery shopping. It’s always the same thing every week over and over again.

Print or Ebook?
I do almost all my reading on my e-reader now but I still collect print books and have shelves of them. So both, I guess.

What movie are you looking forward to this year?
Catching Fire! Oh and If I Stay…wait that might be next year…and there’s Divergent in early 2014.

Finish the sentence- one book I wish I had written is....
I’m trying so hard to be a team player and answer this question but I honestly can’t think of anything. I have so many books that I love and respect, have learned from and been envious of their brilliance but I have yet to read something that’s really similar to a concept I’ve come up with or would like to write. I think it’s because all my plots get pretty crazy and lots of out-of-the-ordinary things happen.

What is next on your to read list?
I’ve got an ARC of After Eden by Helen Douglas that I’m looking forward to reading. Also, Reality Boy by A.S. King and Sara Zarr’s newest two books (one is co-authored). And The Moon And More by Sarah Dessen

Any other books in the works?
Um yes…lol. Probably too many. So, I have two sequels planned for Letters to Nowhere and in October I have baseball themed Mature YA/NA crossover releasing with Entangled, and a co-authored NA series releases next summer or fall and the first book is called HALFWAY PERFECT

Thanks! You’re awesome! :D

Romance and Gymnastics? Count me in!

Oh no! I screwed up this whole interview. I meant to say, anything "but" plain M&Ms...peanut, peanut butter, pretzel, almond--all of those top Skittles.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Also, can I just gush for a minute about how much I LOVED these questions! I get so many of the same questions for interview and it's hard to come up with new ways to answer. These were so much fun. Thank you!

Love reading how people deal with challenges, rise to the occasion. And although hot and steamy is fun, too may people overlook the joy of a great kiss. Can't wait to read more.
